Motorsport Shocks Ltd — Shipping Policy

At Motorsport Shocks Ltd, we aim to deliver all products and serviced items efficiently and securely. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle shipping, delivery times, costs, and related responsibilities.

1. Shipping Regions

We currently ship to the following regions:

  • UK Mainland

  • Scotland & Northern Ireland

  • Ireland

  • All European countries

We do not currently ship outside of Europe. If you're located in another region, please contact us to discuss potential arrangements.

2. Courier Services

We use a range of trusted courier services depending on the shipment size, value, and destination. These may include:

  • FedEx

  • DPD

  • DHL

  • And other reputable courier providers

All shipments include tracking.

3. Order Handling & Shipping Timeframes

For Shock Servicing:

  • Shock servicing requires a minimum turnaround of 2 weeks to allow for workload and scheduling. We will notify you when your shocks are ready to ship or collect.

 

Shipping Times:

  • UK Shipments: Typically next business day after dispatch

  • International Shipments: Usually delivered within 2–4 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and courier

 

4. Shipping Costs

  • Domestic (UK): Estimated shipping may be shown on the website; final charges are confirmed during ordering.

  • International: Shipping charges are calculated based on weight and destination, and are invoiced separately after order confirmation.

  • No shipments are dispatched until the shipping invoice is paid in full.

 

5. Local Pickup

We offer local pickup by appointment only. This option must be discussed and arranged with us privately.

 

6. Insurance & Lost Parcels

  • Shipping insurance is not included by default. If you wish to insure your shipment, please request this when placing your order.

  • Motorsport Shocks Ltd is not responsible for lost or damaged parcels in transit. Once handed over to the courier, responsibility lies with the courier service.

 

7. Tracking Information

All shipments include tracking numbers, which will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

 

8. Packaging

To keep costs down and reduce environmental waste, we use recycled packaging wherever possible.

  • If you send shocks in for servicing, we may reuse your original packaging unless we determine it to be unsafe.

  • In such cases, we will repack your items using suitable materials at no additional cost.

 

9. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For all international shipments:

  • All import duties, taxes, VAT, and handling fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Motorsport Shocks Ltd is not liable for any customs delays or charges incurred upon arrival in your country.

 

10. Shipping Restrictions

Due to international shipping regulations:

  • We cannot ship shocks pre-filled with nitrogen gas.

  • Customers must ensure their shocks are gassed to the correct nitrogen level before use.
    (Consult your technician or local motorsport workshop for assistance.)
